Technology Control Plan

Fill out a Technology Control Plan when using restricted material on campus. After discussing the plan with MIT Export Control, the Technology Control Plan should be submitted to MIT Export Control before the restricted material is brought to campus.

Event and Program Vetting

Fill out the Event and Program Vetting form when presenting a program such as a webinar or a workshop. (You do not need to fill out this form when presenting at a conference). Submit the Event and Program vetting form as early as possible when planning your program.

Informal International Collaborations Tool

Researchers (including staff, postdocs, and graduate students) are encouraged to report their informal collaborations in the Informal International Collaborations (IIC) tool. The VPR Compliance team will review each submitted collaboration and contact the researcher with any questions or concerns.

Visual Compliance

Before considering a research collaboration, or any exchange of material or information, MIT researchers should screen their collaborators against the restricted parties lists using Visual Compliance.
