2018 Mallinckrodt Grant Applications

The funds are designed to provide faculty members who hold M.D. and/or Ph.D. degrees, and who are in the first to fourth year of a tenure-track position, with support to move the project forward to the point where R01 or other independent funding can be obtained.  Applicants with current R01 funding should not apply.

ETH Zurich Materials Research Prize for Young Investigators The ETH Materials Research Prize for Young Investigators recognizes outstanding contributions of young investigators that advance materials from fundamental to applied research. These contributions could include, for example: the discovery of new classes of materials, the observation of novel phenomena leading to either fundamentally new applications and insights, and work that substantially impacts our understanding or applications of existing materials and phenomena. 2018 Brain Research Foundation Scientific Innovations Award Brain Research Foundation has invited MIT to nominate one senior faculty member to submit a Letter of Intent for the Scientific Innovations Award (SIA). Brain Research Foundation’s Scientific Innovations Award Program provides funding for innovative science in both basic and clinical neuroscience. NIH Shared Instrumentation Grant Programs

PAR-17-074 and PAR-17-076

The NIH has released their solicitations for Shared Instumentation Grants ($50K to $600K) and High-End Instrumentation Grants ($601K to $2M). The objective of the Program is to make available to institutions expensive research instruments that can only be justified on a shared-use basis and that are needed for NIH-supported projects in basic, translational or clinical areas of biomedical and bio-behavioral research.
