NSF Fastlane Demo and Proposal Tips

We welcome all research administrators to join us for the Research Administration Practices (RAP) session on "NSF Fastlane Demo and Proposal Tips". Come join your peers and colleagues to learn and ask questions during an NSF Fastlane demo. Additional topics will include include:

  • Where to find existing NSF proposal resources
  • Handling Participant Support Costs
  • What is considered allowable cost sharing

Post Award and KC Navigation

We welcome all research administrators to join us for the Research Administration Practices (RAP) session on "Post Award and KC Navigation". Join other research administrators and hear from experts as navigation of the KC Award module is shown, and answers to the following are provided:

  • What is the difference between obligated and anticipated totals and dates?
  • Are there travel restrictions by this Sponsor?
  • How may I view child accounts and distributions?
  • Where can I find the Sponsor's Award Notice?

Reading a Solicitation*

Date and Time: Tuesday, December 12th from 10 to 11am

Location: Singleton Auditorium, 46-3002

This RAP session will focus on time savings and tips for the Aggregator in reading solicitations for a wide variety of Sponsors (Government, Industrial, Foundation/Non Profit), answering these (and other) commonly asked questions:

  • This solicitation is 100+ pages  - how can I find what I need quickly?
  • Are there special Sponsor restrictions, such as limitations on F&A (resulting in under recovery)?
  • Are there cost sharing requirements?
  • For S2S proposals, how do I know which attachment type to use in KC?
  • What if there is no solicitation?
